Staying in a sea view family room delivered fine vistas every morning. The communal area provides a cozy space to unwind with a drink while watching boats pass by.
The accommodation involved navigating two significant flights of stairs in a separate building, which may be challenging for some. Breakfast service on the last morning fell short, with delays and incorrect orders due to limited staff. My dish contained an overly vinegary hollandaise and a fish pie that was excessively hot, complemented by cabbage that was undercooked and cold-definitely not my preference. Those who enjoy straightforward meals might find the evening menu lacking in seasoning and not enough variety in side dishes.

Just a fine choice for a brief pit stop in Appledore with very nice value for money. The staff was very friendly and accommodating . Consider asking for a room away from the pub area if noise bothers you.

Perfect location with nice vibes
The family room was huge with an epic view! Loved the little touches like biscuits and the bar was nice for some drinks. Only thing was, the staff during dinner seemed a bit overwhelmed, so service was kinda slow.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay in a family room with a sea view, and the homemade shortbread in our room was a lovely surprise! There are peaceful spots to relax by the beach and a cozy lounge area to unwind after a day exploring. The pillows were a bit too firm for my liking, but overall, we had a fabulous time! 🌊

The location is fantastic, right on the quay with beautiful views. We had a lovely family room with a large comfortable bed and wonderful décor. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and the homemade shortbread left in our room was a delightful touch. the breakfast service was a bit slow and slightly disorganized on our last morning, which detracted from an otherwise great stay.

A Nice Family Getaway with Fine Views
Our family stayed one night in a lovely Double Room with a beautiful sea view. The staff were really nice. Don't miss the local seafood at the on-site restaurant, it's a must-try! Parking can be tricky, so arrive early.
